Would it be possible to do a “sneaky bastard approach”? The idea would be to join with a commercial airliner at high altitude, iot mask yourself, and then drop your bombs when you are “on-top”.

I saw your attempts at the sneaky B approach. Maybe the game engine is a little bit to good at handling the fog of war….The interesting part is your discussion about whether or not, if a carrier group would engage, or event detect somebody useing that approach. In regards to what the price would be if it were to shoot down a commercial airliner.
IRL I think you could get quite far useing that approach…. Its totally unethical, if there is such a thing as an ethical war…
